We’re closing in on the end of a very snowy Week 4 at Basecamp Meribel that has seen our BASI guys picking up the pace, leaving the corduroy pistes behind, and working on their turns in variable terrain, bumps… and powder!

Thursday morning was the pick, with a heavy fall of snow on Wednesday night giving way to bluebird skies and miles and miles of fresh tracks for the taking. Yesssssssss.

Apart from lapping up the skiing, our Basecampers got creative with their neck nominations, refusing to let even me (or the guys back at Basecamp HQ) off the hook!

We also welcomed some new members to the Basecamp Chalet family… Jay and Dene – two feisty goldfish named after our very own Chalet Host, Jaydene. What a tribute to Jaydene’s status of “hostess with the mostess”!

With loads more of the white stuff due to fall this weekend, the chalet is full of some very happy Basecampers…

Until next week!
