Meribel is the original home of Basecamp ski instructor courses in France. Meribel is also the resort to go for if you are looking to join one of our off piste performance courses run by the legendary Pierre Francois Papet. Our Performance courses are fast becoming some of our most popular options
Those taking part in either one of our 3 full season ski course options in Meribel this season will be able call Chelet Les Matines home for the the duration of their 10 week course.

Its one thing staying in a chalet for the season, and following on from what we offered last season, lots of other operators now offer something similar. However, what makes our chalet accommodation for Basecamp trainees totally unique is the fact that our chalet is situated right in the centre of Meribel. We are not down the valley, we are right in the thick of it. Chalet les Matines is a genuine ski in ski out chalet, hosted by two expereinced Basecamp chalet hosts. Chalet Les Matines is so well located that our trainees can ski back to the chaletat lunch time to make their lunch.

As well as being extremely well located, Chalet Les Matines has a real homely feel to it. As well as a roaring fire, there is a large, south-facing sun terrace, perfect for relaxing on a sunny afternoon. Each morning trainnees will head out having enjoyed breakfast infront of magnificent views of the mountains. There is nothing better than waking up to the feeling of being at home in the centre of 3 valleys for a whole season.
Places are limited in the chalet to a maximun of 14 trainees and with the chalet already half full we do expect the remaining beds in the chalet to fill up fast.
Anyone that misses out on a place in the chalet will have the option to stay in the basecamp apartment up in Morel. These are a popular option too. The season that we run in Meribel is not on the same scale as the courses that we run in Val d'Isere. what this does is give you an element of choice not only on the resort you train in, but also the type of season that you will experience as part of a Basecamp program.
