Lake Louise received a total of 86cm of snow from Saturday 11th – Monday 13th January 2014. This snowfall coincided nicely with the start of our instructor training programme, meaning that all the Basecampers have started their course with the finest possible conditions! There’s no better introduction to the Lake Louise resort, or skiing life in Canada!

Monday 13th January was the pick of the days, with two days of snowfall behind it, a heavy snowfall over night and no busy crowds it truly was a perfect day! This was the first day of training for all the Basecampers, and while they were off with their instructors Tom Devereux and myself took the opportunity to enjoy the perfect conditions, and we were also joined by Tom Kelly and Sam Cooper, both Level 2 Instructors who completed the 2013 Basecamp 11 Week Instructor Course and have now returned for the 2013/14 season to work as instructors in Lake Louise.

We took the following footage in the afternoon, in and around the trees of Lake Louise resort. A truly memorable day of snow! Enjoy!
