Exciting Times at Basecamp Meribel!

Ah, am I getting old? Or are we having too much fun here at Basecamp Meribel? Time is just flying by and here we are at the end of Week 2!

This week kicked off with an impressive culinary effort by Basecamp Curry Guru Greg, who prides himself not only on his spice mixing skills, but also on his commitment to eye safety both on and off the hill…

In terms of what’s been happening on the hill, our beloved BASS trainer, Jeffers, has been putting the boys through their paces , fine-tuning their skills in preparation to sit their BASI Level 1 Exam next week. There have been a few short turns, a few long turns, a bit of lesson preparation…

This week we also kick started our inaugural Weekly Insty competition at Basecamp HQ, with our lucky winner Greg taking home a fancy bottle of booze for his amazing collection of photos and video grabs detailing the first few weeks of Basecamp in Meribel. Here's a quick example of his fine work:

We’ve got some friends and family of our Basecamp crew coming out to visit over the next few weeks, some staying right at the heart of Basecamp HQ in the self-catered apartment, nestled in under the Basecamp Chalet on the piste in Meribel.
