If you are coming from the UK you will be granted a visa upon arrival in New Zealand.
If you want to work in a following season you will need to arrange a Working Holiday Visa. Applications should be made directly through the NZ immigration department rather that dealing with a visa organization. You can apply for a 12 or 23 month visa.
