SKI AND SNOWBOARD SPECIALIST REINVENTS COURSES FOR EVOLVING GAP YEAR MARKET WHILST PROMISING TO BEAT COMPETITOR PRICES

Recently acquired Basecamp  the pioneer provider of BASI ski and snowboard instructor courses in France is remodelling its courses in response to changing gap year demands and is also introducing a price guarantee which is set to take the market by storm.

Co-Founder of Ticket to Ride Group, Will Hayler explains “Basecamp established the original market in 2002 but things have changed significantly since then so we’ve overhauled our product offering to reflect this.

Experience has taught us that there is demand for less intensive schedules, greater freedom to spend time on the slopes mixing training with practice and a unanimous request for better value: we now deliver all three with our new All Mountain Gap Year Courses in Canada and France for both ski and snowboarders.”

“On our focused instructor courses, students spend the latter seven weeks working on the technical side of a qualification they would be unlikely to use long term, so for a one-off season its more logical – and more fun – to focus on safe enjoyment of on-snow time and the development of core skills offered by our Mountain Gap Year. It also guarantees in-resort employment, which is becoming increasingly important in tightened financial times.

“We are so confident about our new prices, that we will match anyone that takes us by surprise by finding a better value course.” Hayler concludes.

Courses are now available from as little as £795.

Full details of the new course can be found on Basecamp’s newly launched website.
