1st Week of BASI 2 with Sundrenched Mountains, Week 9 in Meribel

So as another week comes to an end in Meribel we need to look at how luck we are. The last 7 days have given us some of the best conditions the 3 Valleys have to offer with Sunshine, Great snow and some epic powder in the Biggest Ski Area in the world.

The BASIiers have had a tough week for the beginning of their BASI 2 Assessment with emotions running high. The trainers Ed and Izzy have been really nice and everyone has been working really hard so good luck for the coming week.

Another cracking week for the Performance Groups with everyone having a great time. I was lucky enough to join the Advanced Group for First Lifts on Tuesday and pulled photgrapher priviliages to be the first person down the Panamorique Couloir after it had snowed. Everyone had a great time and we got a few shots below of this pretty knarly chute under what once was the worlds largest cable car. The other group also had a cracking week with a mixture of on and off piste, I caught up with them on Friday and they were enjoying some lovely sun and getting some epic carving in under the instruction of Piere Francois.

With BASI 2 happening all week we saved the socials to the weekend but was it a good one. On Saturday Lunchtime we all headed up to the top of Creux Noir between Meribel and Courchevel Valleys. Thanks to the team we had some epic sandwinchs and everyone had a good lunch before some photos and freestyle frollicks happened off some of the natural terrain in this area. The weather could not have been betters.

For this weeks social dinner we put on an Epic Barbecue with the theme of Folie Les Matines, As the sun set on Matines sun terrace everyone fills them selves to their hearts content before enjoying a fine evening.

One more week to go!
