Blue birds continue in Val d'Isere…
With most of our early season guys out there at the moment everyone is getting relaxed and settled into seasonaire life. Old Basecampers and new have been hanging out this week getting to know each other. This last week the early season Basecampers got to enjoy all the opening parties around town. Including La Folie Douce, Dicks Tea Bar, The Fall Line, Saloon and many more! And then getting up every morning and going skiing isn't a bad way to spend your days! Hard life isn't it?
Our pre season BASI training has already started with the first lesson kicking off Wednesday this week. The lesson went great and it was a perfect introduction to kickstart the BASI course starting in January.
The predicted snow fall for the next week isn't the best, however we are expecting huge snowfalls within the next month so we have to enjoy these blue bird days while we can! Pre-season is well under way with training and conditions on the mountain are great. We've had slalom championships today, as well as the world cup this weekend, can it get any better!?
