Banff, Canada

Uniquely located in the Rockies

Banff, Alberta

Known as one of the best ski destinations in Canada, Banff is in a uniquely stunning location at the heart of Banff National Park and the Canadian Rockies. You’ll find ski resorts spanning in all directions from this incredible location.

Three individually attractive resorts make up a total of over 7,500 acres of skiable terrain. Mount Norquay, Sunshine Village and the magnificent, award winning Lake Louise combine to create ‘The Big 3’.

Mount Norquay Resort

The Mt Norquay is closest to the centre of Banff and is the smallest of the three resorts. But there are still 190 acres of terrain to explore, so don’t let the fact it’s smaller than its Banff counterparts fool you! The compact terrain and steep pistes with unrivalled fall lines means it’s ideal for race training and timed gate runs. Night skiing on Mt Norquay is a must!

Sunshine Village Resort

Slightly further out of Banff than Mt Norquay, Sunshine Village is the next size up with impressive credentials. As Canada’s highest ski resort at a whopping 8,954ft high, it’s a popular resort. It’s one of the most snowsure resorts in Canada with an impressive 33ft of annual snowfall – who needs snow cannons, eh? All these factors combined with Delirium Wave and the Wild West, two of Canada’s biggest inbound free-ride zones, make Sunshine Village one of the most enticing ski resorts in the world.

Lake Louise Resort

We’ve saved the best til last! Our third and final ski resort is also one of Canada’s largest ski resorts with a massive 4,200 acres of ski-able terrain, Lake Louise is not somewhere to be missed and you’ll be glad to know that we’ve chosen this awesome resort as our Banff Basecamp.

If you’re looking for huge terrain, tons of powder, and loads of mountains to explore, Lake Louise is THE place to be. You’ll have the opportunity to explore four different mountain faces and ski sooo many tracks, you’ll never do the same one twice! What’s more, Lake Louise has freestyle parks that are frequently awarded as the best in North America.

Oh, and the views are to die for!
