Linley has had a passion for boardsports for as long as he can remember he hit the Austrian slopes as a young child, and comes from a family line of ski instructors. He's been snowboarding since he was 14 and loves balancing all areas whether it's on the piste, in fresh powder, or in the park he'll be there pushing himself to the maximum of his ability.
 
From the UK he handles the operational planning and logistics, he'll be the guy who'll handle the payments but is also a great person to speak to about the courses as he knows them all inside out.

Tom's first alpine adventure was to the slopes of Morzine 17 years ago. Since, he has developed a love for skiing and snowboarding and have spent a lot of time in the French and Swiss Alps. In 2006 he spent a season in Queenstown, New Zealand and became a qualified SBINZ Snowboard Instructor. He has a passion for both disciplines and jump at any opportunity to get amongst the mountains.
 
In HQ he's the man to speak to about our courses, and as a trained snowbaord instructor himself understands what people are looking for when joining our courses as he has been there himself!

Will puts the theory of ‘first up last down' into good practise. Never one to be outdone on energy levels he will be bouncing up and down at the lifts before they've opened, and will also be the last person down off the mountains still rearing to go.
 
He's been bought up with the ski industry all around him with his family running a successful ski retail company. Will handles the marketing of Basecamp, and is also a great course advisor.

What gets you out of bed in the morning? My 3 year old daughter

What keeps you snowboarding? Freshlines, riding with friends and always trying to being creative. It's easy, the feeling you get when riding keeps you craving for more.

If you weren't a snowboarder what would you be? My careers officer at school said I should be a lumberjack!

Steve descirbes himself to be  still in love the way of life in the mountains and is more passionate about training others to become ski instructors than anyone else.

Steve has been an Alpine Trainer for BASI for more than 10 years and  has a great record of success training Basecamp students through BASI system.
 
Although Steve can often be seen training the level 3 and 4 BASI courses on the slopes of Val D'Isere, he is also actively involved in the levels 1 and 2 courses ensuring Basecamp students have the best possible preparation for their BASI weeks.
