The Pro - Katie Blundell-Jonas
Katie was the original driving force behind organising these ladies camps in the first place, so we are delighted she can join us after taking a few years out to become a Mum to two beautiful future shredders!
Katie is a former British freestyle snowboard champion and general gymnastic badass on a board! Her laidback style and extremely friendly and positive outlook will have you progressing in no time!
The Yogi - Rachael Roberts
Rachael came on this camp last year as part of the group and we loved her so much we asked her to come back and teach the yoga sessions this year! An experienced yoga teacher and qualified personal trainer, Rachael is a great person to have around to ask those fitness-related questions to. She absolutely loves her snowboarding too so will be joining all the classes and staying with the group as an all-round host too!
Chalet Life, Meribel
All our chalets sit in prime locations just minutes from the pistes and towns of Meribel or Mottaret. They are comfortably furnished with open plan living areas to relax in and open fires if the weather gets colder. All have outdoor terraces to sit in the sun and great views of the mountains around.
Food and Drink
What you eat is important! You'll be riding hard for 6 days, and it's important that your body stays fuelled. We'll be serving up hot cooked breakfasts each morning, spreading up afternoon tea for your return, and then presenting a 3 course meal of energy filled healthy dinners. Wine will be served with the evening meals, and we also have a selection of craft beers available next door in our Mountain Lodge if that's more your thing! We'll give the chalet staff one night off to hit the town. Dietary requirements are not a problem.

This camp is aimed at intermediate to advanced riders, wanting to push their riding in other areas. Ideally you would have done at least 4 weeks on snow and be confident on piste, but not necessarily off-piste or in the park (around a Level 3 or above on our ability scale). If you are unsure as to the level of the group or whether it is for you, give us a call in the office on 0208 7899 055 and we would be happy to help.
We will be covering many different areas of snowboarding, so there may be elements you're more confident with. We will have Corinne and Katie on the ground so, If required, we will also be able to divide the group up depending on abilities/ preferences and individual goals.
Yes! Run by girls for girls to practice snowboarding in a comfortable environment with no need to impress. I have grown up snowboarding with only guys, and I just find they have a different mentality to girls and don't get it when I can't do things they can! On this trip, whatever you can or can't do is fine!
Our day by day schedule is only a rough guide and we can juggle around the days according to weather/ conditions. The past few seasons though, April conditions have been great in Meribel with some awesome last minute dumps!
You will be in a twin room but you can upgrade to your own room for an extra cost
There will be evening meals for us in the Chalet, and after that it's up to you. There is a great nightlife in Meribel if that is your scene, or stay in and watch a film instead!
There will be 8 ladies maximum with the option to split into smaller groups if needs be.
An All-Mountain snowboard would be the best board to bring. Or just a snowboard you feel comfortable riding. If we do splitboarding (which is optional) then you will need to pre-order split-board set ups from Tignes Spirit which we can arrange prior to your trip.
If you have any AVI gear please bring it along as you will be familiar with using your own stuff (transceivers, probes, shovels and bags). But don't worry, you can hire AVI equipment if you don't have any.
