We ask that you are a Level 3 or above on our ability scale. Generally having 3-4 weeks on snow prior to the course is enough, and the most important thing is a good attitude to improving and learning new skills!

The Level 1 isn't hard to pass as an entry level qualification. Participants will be assessed on their abilty to perform and teach on the mountain. We get a 100% pass rate year in year out. The Level 2 in a big step up from the Level 1, however the training you recieve prior to the exam puts you in an excellent position to pass. The 2016/17 season saw an amazing 95% pass rate at Level 2 in Banff.

In recent years everyone who has wanted a job has secured one. We don't like to guarantee employment as it's down to the individual to posses the skill and attitude that employers are looking for.
