Week 1 in Val d'Isere…
The first week in Val d'Isere with Basecamp is fully underway and we couldn't ask for a better bunch of people! The BASI courses are firing up with the level 1 exam just around the corner. The Performance groups are getting taken to places they would never have gone before and everyone is settling in to life in Val d'Isere just great.
Other than training this week we had a avalanche talk by the famous Henry's Avalanche Talk. It was a very intersting talk and everyone involved learnt a lot about what to do when off piste and where not to go!
One of the resort managers Jamie, hosted a pub quiz for all the Basecampers on Saturday night. With very interesting team names and lots of random questions, it was a very funny night!
