After a great week of big snow falls and a lot of powder, we had a great day of sunshine for Katie's Birthday yesterday.

We all got together and had a great afternoon of riding. We stopped for a bit of a picnic and a muck around. After taking half an hour of hard work, Toby, Megan, Declan, Will and Ali wrote 'Basecamp' in big letters in the snow. it was definitely worth the effort!

We then went on to having a great ski down the mountain to La Daille, some of us taking the very excentric route down the 'Lost Vally'. This run being very chalenging but extremely fun.

Ended up having a really fun night starting in Abracadbar (Basecamp's second home for the season), with Martin and Fred looking after everyone, then the crew headed to Dicks Tea Bar to finish the night off.

For the next 5 days we are expecting nothing but snow, can't remember the last time it snowed on Chrismas day. I can't wait!

With the start of the courses starting just round the courner the Basecampers are making the most of every bit of snow possible at the minute! If the snow stays anything like this the season is going to be unreal!

Check out the photos of the last few days of POW!

More fun to come…
