CASI Level 2: Having completed the Level 1 award, Level 2 is the next level for snowboarding in the Canadian system looking to start teaching intermediate snowboarders out on the mountain. Both the training and final examination for this award require dedicated training and a high level of riding.  Historically Basecamp students have enjoyed a high level pass rate, and this is something we pride ourselves on. Whilst the CASI award enables you to teach all over the world, you will have discovered Canada now and will find it hard to go anywhere else.

More About CASI
CASI Mission Statement “to set the standard for the profession of snowboard teaching.”

CASI are members of the ISIA (International Ski Instructors Association) and all CASI qualifications are globally recognised throughout the snow sports industry

How good do you have to be at Snowboarding before the course?

This is a Level 2 Instructor course, so you will need to have the CASI Level 1 course as a pre-requisite. If you don't have this we can arrange for you to take the qualification on any of our other courses.

By doing the course am I guaranteed a qualification?

All the qualifications are assessments, so you are not guaranteed the qualification. This course's sole focus is about getting you the Level 2 qualification, so all the training you receive gears you up for the awards.

Our pass rate is extremely high.

What if I'm travelling on my own?

The majority of people will do this course as solo travellers. There is a large Basecamp community in resort, and your Resort Manager will make sure you're quickly introduced to everyone.
