Spain – Figueres and Seville

Skydiving - Paramotoring - Coaching - Qualifications - Town - Accommodation

Spain – Don’t leave without…

• Sampling the Tapas at Bar Modesto, north of Murillo Gardens, Seville, whilst enjoying a cold beer.

• Spending an afternoon in Seville’s Barrio Santa Cruz – stop at one of the many street side cafes and watch the world go by.

• From Figueres, head to the beach and give kitesurfing a go.

• Wherever you end up, there will be a classic go-karting track nearby – spend an evening as a speed freak.

• Whatever your views on bullfighting, it is quintessentially Spanish, and where better to see it than the Real Maestranza de Caballeria in Ronda.

Spain is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Europe, and, with adventure sports such as skydiving, paramotoring, mountain biking and kitesurfing becoming more and more popular, people are flocking there to make full advantage of the stunning mountains, amazing beaches and warm climate – Seville, where we hold our Skydiving courses, is statistically the warmest city in Europe.

Among these, arial thrill seekers are travelling to Spain in greater and greater numbers – it is close to home, is warm year round and offers some of the best Dropzones in the world. It is at the forefront of the development of Paramotoring, and home to Europe’s busiest Dropzone in Empuriabrava.

Skydiving

Base Camps' Skydiving programme takes place at the Aerodromo La Juliana, a friendly, well-established and professional dropzone, with attentive and organized staff. Jumps are made from 3 Dornier G92 and 2 Turbo Finist SMG-92 aeroplanes, which guarantee a fast turnover of jumps. Exclusive to this dropzone, Skydive Spain are licensed to jump from 15,000 feet, guaranteeing plenty of freefall time.

On site there is a café with a busy bar, as well as a shop, pool, and showers. A rigging service is available and the landing area is huge and safe. With skydivers from all over the world passing through all year round, along with the warm climate and relaxed vibe, Skydive Spain is the perfect place to take the plunge into this exciting adrenaline sport.

Surrounding nearly all the whole Aerodrome are the Pyrenees which present a beautiful back drop making this area of Spain an even more fantastic place to sit a Paramotoring course!

All equipment is included, and you will be flying the latest and most advanced paramotors. There are opportunities to go on trips along the coast, and overnight trips into Spain.

The British Parachute Association is the governing body for all skydiving and related sports in the UK, and the AFF course in Spain is run along strict BPA guidelines. Since its establishment in 1962, the BPA has controlled all aspects of the sport, including safety, training, competitions, finance and development.

The AFF qualification is an internationally recognized qualification and is the minimum requirement to skydive solo, at dropzones all over the world. It is also the first step to more advanced forms of freefall such as freeflying, wingsuiting, and formation skydiving.
