You’ll train in a small group, giving you extensive opportunities for one on one sessions with your instructor. Watching your progress on video and taking part in individual formal feedback discussions with your instructor will help you to track your progress and identify areas for you to focus on.
Our courses are designed to be comprehensive, and so we include opportunities for free-diving, night and deep diving, as you progress through the PADI syllabus. You’ll also have plenty of time to go off and explore the spectacular underwater scenery in any other way you choose – making sure that your time with Base Camp gives you everything that you’re looking for, and more.
And while the training aspect of your course is crucial, we’re also about having a lot of fun too – both during and after training. Rescue Diver Course
Length: 4 weeks
Start dates: July & September
Location: Dahab, Egypt

• Suitable for those with limited diving experience
The course
You’ll receive the most incredible introduction to diving in Dahab – one of the best dive spots in the world. As this course is designed for those with limited diving experience, you’ll be under no pressure as you rapidly advance to complete the PADI Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air Driver, Emergency First Response & Rescue Diver courses.
As well as having plenty of opportunities to dive purely for pleasure, you’ll also be introduced to and become competent with concepts such as buoyancy, underwater navigation, nature study and emergency management, and will complete the course a competent and confident diver.
Useful information: The final 3 weeks are available as a fast track for clients who are already have their PADI Open Water Diver qualification.
Prerequisites: Swim 100m and basic hand-eye coordination.
Post course: You’ll be qualified to dive independently around the world up to a depth of 30m.

Divemaster Course
Length: 4 weeks
Start dates: August & October
Location: Dahab, Egypt

The course
After completing over 60 dives under the guidance of your specialist PADI supervisor, you’ll walk away from your course a qualified, professional diver.
Enhanced with practical training exercises and classroom study, you’ll learn valuable leadership skills by working as an understudy at the dive centre. While mastering 12 essential topics such as dive theory, your skills in the water and your stamina will transform – giving you the extensive organisational and problem solving skills required to lead dives safely.
Prerequisites: PADI Open Water Diver, PADI Rescue Diver, 20 logged dives.
Post course: You’ll be qualified to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers worldwide.

Rescue Diver & Divemaster Course
Length: 8 weeks

The Course
You’ll train to become a divemaster in one of the world’s most stunning underwater playgrounds. During your comprehensive course, you’ll take the PADI Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air Diver, Emergency First Response & Rescue Diver courses.
Following this, you’ll complete a comprehensive divemaster internship that includes 12 topics and over 60 dives, giving you valuable knowledge and experience for your future career.
With unlimited opportunities to explore the shallow coral gardens and deep canyons of Dahab’s fringing reef, this is the ultimate in divemaster courses – ideal as part of a gap year or career break
