This is the most common question and often the hardest one to be able to give a specific answer on. Val d'Isere is an expensive resort, make no mistake about that, however if you spend it wisely there is plenty of scope for damage limitation. Your Basecamp course advisor and resort manager will be able to give you all the money saving advice and tips before and during your season.

In town you have everything you need for a modern high altitude resort, Val d'Isere has cleverly held onto its classic Alpine charm.

For those people on an 11 week course we provide you with a full Espace Killy season lift pass and for those on a shorter course your lift pass will cover you for the time you are in resort. However, we can make arrangements to upgrade your lift pass if you decide you would like to stay on for the rest of the season

Our Val course follows the route and aspirations of some of our younger Gap Year clients. The non stop energy sapping days flowing into equally energy sapping and often just as long energy burning nights, it's not for the faint hearted.
