Can I extend my accommodation to make the most of the season?
This is definitely something we can arrange for you. We can organise for you to come out up to a month early and leave up to month after your course finishes. If you would like some more information please get in touch with the Basecamp team.

How much spending money will I need in Meribel?
Being in the French Alps, and in the centre of the 3 valleys, we are not going to lie, Meribel is expensive. However, if you budget, know where the happy hours are, and are good with packed lunches you will save money. Giving an exact amount as a budget is difficult as different people have different spending habits, but between £100-£140 a week should be perfectly adequate.

What's the best thing about Meribel?
Meribel is renowned for its location and being the heart of the three valleys the skiing and snowboarding options are endless. At Basecamp we love Meribel as it was the first resort we started running courses in over 10 years ago, so it's close to home and you'll see our passion for the resort throughout the duration of your course.
-
What's the deal with the lift pass?
For those people on an 11 week course we provide you with a full season 3 Vallees lift pass and for those on a shorter course your lift pass will cover you for the time you are in resort. However, we can make arrangements to upgrade your lift pass if you decide you would like to stay on for the rest of the season.
-
Who is Meribel best suited to?
Basecamp are marketing Meribel towards the slightly older market, so if you are over 25 and looking for a slightly more chilled out experience then Meribel is for you. It's a perfect resort if on a career break or looking to use our course as a career change.
