Compulsory insurance for your course
Insurance is compulsory on all Base Camp courses and accommodation lets, and as all payments are non-refundable, we recommend you take out insurance before the time of the first invoice.
UK Clients and School Parties
TGIC - TRAVEL AND GENERAL
Base Camp's partner insurance company is Travel and General Insurance, and we’ve negotiated a special policy with them specifically for Base Camp clients.
Although well known for its comprehensive nature, the TGIC policy does not cover for every eventuality, so you need to be happy with the policy yourself.
We would also emphasise that whilst we can accept the application for the insurance and process it for you, the policy is a personal arrangement solely between you and the insurer.

Please make sure you have read and fully understood the policy before the start of the course. If you wish to arrange your own insurance, Base Camp will require proof of cover before you start the course. Any such cover must be no less favourable than that provided by TGIC's policy.
