End of Season Party coming soon!

How To Book

Book now for 2008/09 winter season

If you can plan in advance, it’s well worth booking your 2008/09 winter season package right now. This way, you can take advantage of this year’s prices for next year’s trip, as part of an early booking discount.

So, try and book before the New Year, as we review course prices every September, January and May. It pays to be organised!  Look out also for 2009 summer season prices coming soon or Contact us now to find out more.

How to book

When you place your booking with Base Camp, you can be confident that you’re booked onto the adventure of a lifetime.

You’ll probably have already spoken to someone from our friendly, knowledgeable team, so you’ll have a good idea of the level of service you can expect – from now, right through to well after your course has finished.

You’ll be travelling to a resort that’s at the pinnacle of training for your sport, staying in comfortable, central accommodation and trained to the highest of standards, by only the most qualified and enlightening of instructors.

Places on Base Camp courses are always in demand, so to make booking as straightforward as possible, here’s some useful information:

1. Decide which is the right course for you

Choosing the right course, location and company for your adventure training is an important decision. This once in a lifetime opportunity needs careful consideration to determine the resort, accommodation, style of coaching, qualifications available and all-round experience that’s right for you.

Because there’s so much to consider, we can’t fit everything into our brochure or even online. We find the best way to help you make your choice is to discuss the details with you – either in person or on the phone. This way, we’ll understand exactly what you’re looking for and help you to create the adventure package that’s just right. Contact the team for more information.

2. Make your booking

Although there’s no deadline to book onto a Base Camp course, as a general guide, we find that most of our clients book six months to a year before a long course, and three to nine months in advance of a short course.

As courses and accommodation are in high demand, we operate on a first come, first served basis, so we advise that you book your place as soon as you can so you’re not disappointed! Early booking may also entitle you to a discount – contact us for more details.

3. Send us your booking form

You can download a booking form from the link at the top of the website. Alternatively, you’ll receive one with your brochure.

As soon as we’ve received your booking form together with a £400 deposit, your course or accommodation package is secured. Our contract with you is confirmed once we’ve sent out your booking confirmation – which we’ll do straight away. So all that’s left to do is relax and start getting very excited!

4. Start enjoying exclusive intranet access

Along with your booking confirmation, we’ll send you your unique Base Camp login details to give you access to our intranet site.

Everything you need’s on there, including details of your account, your course plan, tips for course preparation and access to exclusive discounts and deals through Base Camp partners.

You’ll also be able to access the Base Camp online community – a priceless opportunity to share messages, photos and videos with other members, and start to get to know the people who’ll be on your course.

5. Pay your balance and explore your options

You can pay the rest of your course or accommodation package fee in two instalments. The first 35% is due 18 weeks before your start date, and the remaining 65% is due 12 weeks before you set off for your adventure.

If you’re booking after the dates when first instalments are due, you’ll need to make these payments straight away.

We’ll remind you when anything’s due. Please also bear in mind that we require a [refundable?] damage deposit for long term accommodation stays – we’ll let you know about this when you book.

Now’s a great time to look at tailoring your holiday to make it just how you want it to be. Perhaps you fancy an accommodation upgrade or want to book onto additional courses during your stay. Get in touch and we’ll give you the low-down on the extensive options open to you to make your trip unforgettable.

6. Pack your things and have a great trip!
