Overview
Val d'Isere Val d'Isere is a world leading resort in the heart of the Savoie region of southeast France which is famous for the "Face du Bellevarde" which featured in the men's downhill race in the 1992 Olympics. Named after Jean Claude Killy, local hero and winner of 3 Olympic Golds in the 1968 Olympics, the Espace Killy ski area covers over 11, 000 hectares of snow fields and 300km of groomed runs. Val d'Isere has long been France’s most popular ski resort, and with good reason: not only does the Espace Killy offer a direct connection to snow-sure Tignes, but has back country terrain that is accessible from lift serviced pistes that are much envied throughout the world. It also has two parks equipped with half pipes, the only double bowl in France, big air kickers, hips, hand rails, boarder cross, and a multitude of small and medium tables. Val D’Isere hosts the first FIS European Downhill of each season and regularly boasts between 6 and 10 meters of snow each winter. Please find all avaliable accommodation below.
